Granola

Granola made it through her surgery with flying colors. She was a little nervous the night before surgery, as was the rest of the family. So, we decided to have a glass of wine (to help her sleep) the night before. Thursday, the day of surgery, was a long one, not only for her, but for all of us. She did a great job. The next AM, she got up out of bed and packed up all her 'stuff' and said she was ready to go home (that is so typical of Granola). The doctors, however, had another plan, she needed to stay one more day. Update: Granola is out of the hospital, spirits are high and she is going great.

Staying busy while Granola was in surgery.

Granola is amazing, she's been packed and ready to leave our house for 3 days now. But after having her drain/stiches removed today she can go back home to her place...keep the prayers coming, she still has a long road ahead of her. The Mammal
